From the 1920s when Faulkner, Hemingway and bohemian writers of the French Quarter caroused in the hotel bar - to their more contemporary counterparts, such as Anne Rice and Richard Ford - the Hotel Monteleone has been used as a backdrop in dozens of works.
From these, we chose ten novels, two plays, and one short story to feature and illustrated each one with archival photos, drawings and collages.
Written by Susan Larson, Riki Collier Shaw, and Phillip Collier.
Introduction by Richard Ford. Hardbound, 64 pages.
